Are you a certified coach?
I am holding a diploma of certification of the Coach Training Academy and the Certified Coaches Alliances and have successfully completed all accredited studies and challenges associated with the Success Conversion Coaching program which is equivalent to the recognition of “Certified Life Coach”.

I am holding the designation of “Certified Life Coach” (Certificate Number: 756372) and “Emotional Intelligence Coach” (Certificate Number: 756372-2)

Are coaching sessions confidential?

Yes. All sessions are 100% confidential.  I comply with the ICF (International Coaching Federation) Code of Ethics

Where are the coaching sessions held?

Unless otherwise agreed upon, all coaching sessions will be conducted via remote video communication.

Face to face sessions are upon request.

Requests of worldwide companies wishing for a coach to be physically onsite on a project basis with follow up sessions online will be discussed on a case to case basis.

Do you also offer consultancy services?

I have an international Hotel, Tourism & South East Asia Travel Media background, notably in Sales & Marketing, thus the reason why I will take on consultancy projects beyond coaching if I am convinced I can drive value to the client.

Having said that, coaches are not consultants and you hire a coach if you are looking for a transformative approach to your life and career through deep mindset shifts and decision-making.

A consultant is a professional who provides expert advice and you hire him or her if you have a goal or a challenge and you need the strategy, structure and expertise to help you achieve it.

It does happen that clients initially hire a coach and after the coaching process realize that part of the strategy to achieve the goals requires a skill set that the client does not have but needs in order to achieve the goal.

That is where the coach can if he or she is an expert in the client´s professional niche takes on the hat of a consultant too. However, it should be very clear to the client when you take off your coaching hat and when you put on your consultant hat. It should be clearly defined in the contract too.

Do you only coach on topics listed on your website?

A coach is not a consultant and does not need to be a specialist in any niche to be an outstanding coach.

However, many coaches choose coaching niches because they are either very passionate about the topic or are experts as well and want to wear the hat of a coach and a consultant if the client might need the two skill sets.

I have chosen my niches because of my own personal and professional background and because I am convinced I can drive value to clients.

Having said this, within my niches, other topics might come up over time and I would certainly work with the client on other topics too if we already have a relationship of trust.

If you feel comfortable with your coach, he or she has helped you already achieve some of your previous goals and unless you want your coach to also potentially later act as your consultant, you could definitely work with that coach on some of your other goals regardless if  the coach is normally coaching in that niche or not.

What are some of your core life values?

Becoming independent thinkers and being so much aligned with our heart and mind that we rely less on others (including coaches) to find answers about ourselves and what is best for us.

We would have the skills of self-confidence, self-management, self- awareness and empathy and just know and feel what to do and we take ownership of our decisions and choices.

I also believe in sharing knowledge and bringing the best out in others.

I respect that we all have a different path to walk in this life and that regardless if it is in line with our own belief system, we should aim to support, motivate and inspire others to reach their goals, however small or big they might be.

Life is one big classroom and we are all here to learn and be a vital part in the universal puzzle and puzzle pieces do not look all the same, but are equally important for achieving the end result.

Do you offer "Discovery calls"?

Yes I do.

Before working with a client, I schedule a 15 minutes “Discovery call”. The purpose of this call is for me to find out how serious you are about your goal and that you understand how and if coaching will be the right service for you.

It also gives us the opportunity to evaluate if the chemistry is right. You can find the best coach in the world, but if you feel no chemistry with a coach and you do not trust to open up, you will not get the most out of coaching.

As a client also ask yourself before the call what you are looking for in a coach. Do you need somebody with a more “gentle” approach or do you benefit more from somebody who challenges you and is more straight forward.

Are you an introvert and enjoy a coach with an extrovert and lively personality to balance out your calmer personality.
Vice versa, are you an extrovert and all over the place and find an introvert, less emotional and more strategic thinking coach ticks the boxes better.

Do you guarantee result?

Coaches are no consultants, who are hired for their skill set to solve a problem for you. A coach is hired for you to gain the skills to achieve your goals yourself and find all the answers you need.

If I am able to help you gain clarity on your goals, motivations and for you to come up with an action plan, then I have done my job. However, that does not yet mean you have achieved your goal.

If you are not 100% committed to follow through with your action plan, then nobody will achieve that goal for you.

I am no fairy godmother, but we are partners and need to work hand in hand to reach your goal.

Therefore before taking on a coach, be clear about what you want, an expert who identifies and solves your problems or somebody who brings the best out in you, so you can identify the challenges and find solutions yourself and rely less on others.

How long are the coaching sessions?

A session takes 60 minutes. These sessions can be weekly (which especially at the beginning is recommended), fortnightly or monthly, whatever suits your timetable and the speed and self discipline at which you can take actions to achieve your goals.

What is the minimum time clients need to commit working with you?

It goes without saying that changes and goal achievement very rarely happen overnight. It is a process and the client also sets his own time frame for wanting to achieve his goal.

I do not believe in enforcing coaching duration on clients. During the initial conversation I have with the client, we discuss about the goal and the time frame the client is comfortable with and committed to achieve his goals. I do not right from the start tell a client that he needs to commit to a certain coaching duration.

I believe in freedom of choice.
